First Visit: The Consultation

The consultation has a flat fee of $50. Please arrive with clean, freshly washed hair, ideally washed within 24-48 hours before your appointment. Your hair should be FREE of oils, conditioners, moisturizers, and left in its most natural state. Do not blow dry your hair, and ensure it’s free of braids and plaits.

What to expect:

During this session, we will go over your hair history and hair care routine. You will be introduced to Sisterlocks™ and I will answer any questions you may have.

SAMPLE LOCKS- Test locks will be installed and are expected to remain in your hair for two washes. This allows me to assess how well the locks hold, check the sizing, and evaluate the overall integrity. These sample locks are crucial in determining the most suitable size and lock pattern for you.

Second Visit: The Establishment

You are encouraged to bring a good book, headphones, a blanket, and wear comfortable clothing. The installation process can take 2-3 days depending on your hair. We will spend 8 hrs installing each day. You will be given two 30 min. breaks. You will have up to 400 locks installed, giving you a completely new look. You will receive a “starter kit” with everything you need to begin your lock journey. Before leaving, be sure to schedule your follow-up visit, as proper maintenance is essential for the long-term integrity of your locks.

Third Visit: Follow-up ( First retightening)

This visit is included in your Sisterlocks™ package, so your first retightening will be free of charge. Make sure to come with washed hair. we’ll discuss the maintenance of your locks and assess how well they are holding up. you’ll receive your retightening and schedule your next retightening appointment within the next 4 weeks.

On going follow-up visits:

Your first few retightening visits should be scheduled at 4-6 weeks intervals. This allows me to assess your hair and to determine how frequently you’ll need retightening. On average, clients schedule visits every 4-8 weeks, depending on their hair type and growth rate.
